Centrally located on Tasmania’s north west coast, providing convenient access to the multitude of attractions in this, often overlooked, but arguably most attractive corner of the State.

Within day trip reach of Cradle Mountain, the wild West Coast and many inland Rainforest excursions from easy to difficult including several spectacular waterfalls, wild rivers and opportunities for solitude for the more adventurous, a naturalist photographer’s heaven.

Down 38 steps in front of Paradise House and onto the splendid beach for a swim or a stroll along the uniquely white sands of Boat Harbour Beach.

The usually crystal clear waters are perfect for snorkelling (snorkelling gear provided) or scuba diving with a scuba centre at nearby Wynyard.  At times, easterly winds can provide exciting times for those who enjoy the surf. (Surf boards & boogie boards provided) or try your luck at some fishing (Basic tackle provided).

Watch out for visiting dolphins, seals and the occasional whales that come right into the bay.
